THE MEGAN PAGE

When I left school I wanted to be an actor, and went to Uni thinking about pursuing that. In my first year I felt called to ministry but ignored the call, as my father is a minister and I thought no way am I going down that path. I contemplated counselling and teaching, and when I left uni with an honours degree in English Literature, I worked initially in publishing as an editor. Finally and reluctantly answering God's call to ministry, I went to Morling College to train as a pastor. This turned out to be where I should have been all along. How strange that God knew better than me!

In 2002 I graduated with a Bachelor of Ministries with honours in systematic theology. BHCBC is my first pastoral position since leaving College. I am currently back at Morling again part time starting my Masters.

I want to do whatever God wants me to in the future. I have learnt God can be very unpredictable, so I'm ready for whatever he leads me in - that said, I'm very passionate about helping people to know God better both with their heads and with their hearts, so teaching and caring for people are two big things for me. Maybe go down the academic path, though I love being a pastor, so I would need to still be able to express that.
